Get ready to unleash your energy at Piney Branch’s most vibrant event of the year. The Piney Branch PTO is thrilled to present the 2025 Color Craze Run, a spectacular fundraising event where every student can come together to support our school.

What is Color Craze?

Color Craze is our biggest fundraiser of the year—it is also a fun and vibrant event held at Piney Branch Elementary School that combines running with bursts of color!

The fundraiser took place from September 8th through October 25th, 2025, when PBES families raised money in support of our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) programs at Piney Branch. Students competed amongst themselves and across grade levels and classrooms to raise money and win coveted prizes. To celebrate all their hard work, the fundraising event will culminate with the 2025 Color Craze Run at PBES Field on Friday, October 31st. More event details are below.

Color Craze is a chance for our community to unite, celebrate, and make a lasting impact at our school. Lace up your sneakers and get ready to be drenched in color. Let’s make this year’s Color Craze the most unforgettable yet!

2025 Color Craze Event Information

On October 31st, 2025, students will join the Color Craze run by grade to celebrate their hard work. The school grounds will transform into a colorful canvas as students dash through clouds of color with laughter and excitement. They will enjoy a dance party and popsicles after the run. Students. Please send your student to school on October 31st wearing their 2025 Color Craze T-shirt and/or clothes that can get a little dirty. All students participate!

T-shirts. For those students who met the required fundraising minimums and completed the t-shirt order form by October 10th, Color Craze t-shirts will be sent home with your students before the event.  

Additional Participants. Only those students who reached fundraising minimums qualify to have additional participants join them in the Color Craze run. Additional participants must have pre-registered for the event by 5:00 PM on October 10. Unregistered participants will not be allowed to participate. If you missed out on a chance to participate in the run, see spectator and volunteer information below. If you are a registered, non-student participant, look for a communication to come from the PTO with information and details.

Spectators. Spectators are welcome! Spectators will be asked to view from a roped-off section of the PBES field. For safety and security, spectators are not permitted to enter the field during Color Craze.

Volunteers. Volunteer to help at Color Run today! There are still a few more spaces left.

Weekly Prizes

Each week during our fundraising event we will recognize a classroom that has helped promote and raise funds for PBES. The classroom that raises the highest donation amount (in dollar value) up to the week assigned to their grade level will be awarded the prize. Mark your calendars and make your donations to help your student’s class win.

Grand Prizes

Pizza Party for Top Fundraisers by Grade! The student from each grade who has raised the most funds for Color Craze will be invited to join a pizza party with Mr. Thorne and Ms. Sobers. Winners will be announced November 7th.

Chick-fil-A Party for Top Fundraising Class! The classroom who raises the most funds for Color Craze will be rewarded with a Chick-fil-A party with their teacher, Mr. Thorne, and Ms. Sobers. Winners will be announced November 7th.

2025 Color Craze Fundraising Deadlines

All of our fundraising deadlines for Color Craze have passed. We are currently tallying up the donations and will announce our grand prize winners in the coming weeks. Thank you for your participation in our 2025 Color Craze Fundraising event to support our S.T.E.A.M. programs at Piney Branch. We are truly grateful!

FAQs

All funds raised during 2025 Color Craze will be used to support Piney Branch Elementary School’s STEAM programs. There are countless ways these funds can be allocated to school projects and initiatives. In past years, the funds have been used to purchase iPads and laptops, provide scripts and supplies for the school musical, replenish supplies in the art room, install fish tanks and incubators for hands-on science lessons, order adaptive equipment and a sun shade for the playground — and so much more.

No! All students at PBES will participate in the Color Craze. The event takes place during the school day and will be a fun time for all students! There’ll be music playing, colors spraying, and popsicles at the end for all!

With that said, we greatly appreciate any donations you collect as part of the fundraiser! This is typically our biggest fundraiser and allows us to do so many wonderful things for Piney Branch.

There are also fun rewards for students in each grade level who raise the most money and for the classroom with the highest overall fundraising total.

*Note: Only students who meet the $30 fundraising goal and complete the t-shirt order form by October 10th will receive an official Color Craze t-shirt.

Additional participants are welcome to join in the Color Craze fun with their student if the required fundraising goals are reached. Additional participants must be registered for Color Craze in advance to participate. Non-student participants will be asked to present identification upon arrival at PBES and are subject to any background checks required by PWCS. A maximum of four additional participants are allowed.

  • Raise $60: 1 Student + 1 Additional Participant with t-shirts for the student and 1 additional participant
  • Raise $90: 1 Student + 2 Additional Participants with t-shirts for the student and 2 additional participants
  • Raise $120: 1 Student + 3 Additional Participants with t-shirts for the student and 3 additional participants
  • Raise $150: 1 Student + 4 Additional Participants with t-shirts for the student and 4 additional participants

October 10th was the deadline to earn a Color Craze t-shirt and have additional non-student runners join your students for race day on October 31st. To receive this prize, you must complete the T-shirt and Additional Participant Order Form by October 10th at 5:00 PM. Fundraising minimums must have been met by the deadline in order for orders to be fulfilled.

October 25th is the deadline to qualify for one of the grand prizes. Donations received after October 25th will not count toward earning grand prizes.
