The PTO provides a fantastic opportunity for you to make a positive impact on our school and community. There are many ways to get involved. Become a member, volunteer, attend meetings, make a donation – do some or do it all!

Become a member!

Your membership helps us support the Piney Branch community. As a member, you can vote on initiatives that are important to you. Meetings and volunteering are not required with your membership. You get to choose how involved (or not) you are!

Volunteer!

Volunteers help the PTO Board execute it’s mission to support the students, teachers, staff, and families of the Piney Branch community. You can volunteer a little or a lot. Volunteer options are vast and flexible and you don’t have to be a member to volunteer. Visit our volunteer page to learn more about our volunteer opportunities.

Attend meetings!

Meetings are open to the entire Piney Branch community. You don’t have to become a member or volunteer to attend meetings; however, voting rights are reserved for members only. Attending meetings helps you stay informed about what events and initiatives the PTO is involved with at Piney Branch Elementary. Meetings are held on third Wednesday of each month in the Piney Branch ES Library. We hope to see you there.

Financial contributions help us deliver on our mission to make Piney Branch a great place to learn. The PTO is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We appreciate your contributions. All donations can be sent to the PTO via Venmo @PineyBranch-ElementaryPTO.

FAQs

No! Your membership comes with no obligations. Come to as many or as few (including zero) meetings as you’d like.

No! We’re always thrilled to have volunteers, but joining the PTO comes with no volunteer obligations.

If there is a specific activity or event you’d like to volunteer for, simply let us know (shoot us an email at [email protected]) and we’d be happy to have you!

Joining the PTO means your membership funds go to the PTO treasury to support all the activities we sponsor at PBES all year long. It also puts you in touch with the PTO Board, should you decide you’d like to join us in planning or executing any of the events we hold throughout the year. It also gives you voting rights at the annual PTO Board election in April/May.
